Skeletune

Studio

A multitrack arranger on a specimen plate: drop clips onto tracks, move them on the BPM grid, trim and crossfade, set level and pan, then export the mix. Everything decodes and plays locally — nothing is uploaded.

Space plays. X opens the mixer. Ctrl+Z undoes, Ctrl+Shift+Z redoes, Delete removes the selected clip, Ctrl+D duplicates it. Hold Alt while dragging to ignore the grid. Ctrl and the wheel zooms.

Selected clip

Select a clip on the timeline to trim, split, duplicate or fade it.

Export mix

Render the mix first, then choose a format.

The mix is rendered by the same graph that plays back, so the exported file is what you heard.

Format

MP3 is not offered: every JavaScript MP3 encoder is GPL/LGPL licensed and no browser exposes one. M4A plays everywhere MP3 does, including QuickTime and iPhone.

About this tool

Studio is a multitrack arranger that runs entirely in your browser. Drop clips onto tracks, line them up on a tempo grid, trim their edges, overlap them for a crossfade, then balance the tracks with level and pan and render the mix to WAV, M4A or Opus.

Nothing is uploaded. Files are decoded once, cached by content hash and referenced from your arrangement, so the same file used ten times still only takes memory once. The arrangement itself is a few kilobytes of JSON, saved locally as you work.

How it works

  1. 01

    Drop clips onto tracks

Drag audio onto a track lane, or use Import clip. Files already analysed elsewhere in SKELETUNE open from the cache with no second decode.

  2. 02

    Arrange on the grid

Move clips with grid snapping, drag their edges to trim, split at the playhead, duplicate, and overlap two clips to crossfade them.

  3. 03

    Mix and export

Set level, pan, mute and solo per track, loop a section while you work, then render the mix and export it in your format of choice.
